We asked thousands employees at nonprofits across the country to nominate their place of business as the best place to work. That began a several month odyssey for the organizations. You’ll find out more about the process in the lead story.
We partnered with The Best Companies to handle the compilations you’ll find on the following pages. No great surprise, salary wasn’t a key element for many working in the sector, which makes you wonder about all the board chairs who claim they have to pay high six figures to CEOs to “find the best talent.”
The most striking element of the findings is the optimism. The people at these organizations actually look forward (most of them anyway) to going to work – even on a Monday.
